About
One studio. Many materials.
My creative process isn't a straight line; I move between mediums seamlessly and intuitively. A painting easily evolves into a print, a textured clay piece, or a wearable accessory. I work with whatever medium calls to me in the moment, always adapting to the time I have. On days when I can fully dive in, I welcome the messy, chaotic energy of the studio where I don’t have to worry about setup and cleanup. On busier days, I adapt just as quickly, sketching on my iPad or a scrap of paper. Because my inspiration moves faster than the seasons, my work naturally embraces mixed media. I might be in the middle of a project and suddenly feel compelled to fuse paper, paint, and unexpected textures onto a canvas—or snap a photo to transfer onto wood, metal or a piece of fabric. Though my background includes formal training in fine art, jewelry making, and ceramics, I now focus on this fluid, multi-disciplinary freedom. Operating out of a small home studio, I create handmade, small-batch pieces that are snapshots of pure, unfiltered inspiration.
